Make a Claim

Making a claim for a Sickness or Accident can be quite overwhelming, so we would like to make it as painless as possible. The following instructions will help you to understand the procedures and steps involved.

As with any process things often happen that are out of our control and can cause delays, but you can help by making sure you double check your claim form before sending it to us.

There can also be other causes for delay, i.e. medical practitioners or specialists who take longer to complete and return reports. So if things don’t happen as fast as you would like, we ask that you be patient as we are on your side.

Please be assured we are just as keen to have your claim dealt with as you are.

Claims Instructions

Contact WageCover direct on (02)9970 8411 and we will post a Claim Form to you. Alternatively download a Claim Form.
You complete section one.
Your doctor completes section two.
Your employer completes section three.
Check your claim form to make sure it has been completed correctly and all certificates are attached.
Send your claim form to WageCover Australia Pty Ltd, PO Box 590 Newport NSW 2106.
WageCover receives your claim form, it is date stamped and checked.
If the form has been completed correctly and all certificates are attached we send it onto the Underwriter for assessment.
Within 24 hours we will send you a letter to confirm we have received your claim form.
Your claim is assessed by the Underwriter.
